Report on the Orientation Session for Newly Admitted Students, 2026

The orientation session for newly admitted students of the year 2026 for the Faculties of Law and Political Science at Kateb University was held on Thursday, May 22, 2026 (3/2/1405), in the presence of the Faculty Dean, Department Heads, the Director of Student Affairs, and the Director of Financial Affairs.

Program Highlights:

Opening: The program commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Qari Shukrullah Sarwari.

Keynote Speech: ‌Mr. Ibrahim Rezaei, Dean of the Faculties of Law and Political Science, welcomed the new students and congratulated them on joining the academic family of Kateb University. He emphasized the importance of:

Hard work, discipline, and commitment throughout their educational journey.
Utilizing academic facilities, including the library, credible research resources, and national and international scientific journals.
Adhering to academic principles, administrative hierarchy, and mutual respect as vital factors for success.

Academic Affairs: Mr. Bonyadi, Director of Student Affairs, provided comprehensive information regarding academic regulations. He explained:

The process for credit selection.
Probation conditions and regulations regarding academic failure.
Methods of support for students facing educational challenges.

Financial Affairs: Mr. Azizullah Ahmadi, the University’s Financial Manager, detailed financial regulations, tuition payment methods, and the verification of financial documents, followed by a Q&A session with the students.

Closing: The session concluded with a closing prayer offered by Qari Shukrullah Sarwari.
